The Factors Determining Job Catches for Re-employed Old People in Seoul Area

|
This study analyzes what kind of job the old people have when they reenter job market, and proposes labor policies to extend job opportunity and make professional jobs accessible. The paper performs multinomial logit analysis for the sample of old people seeking job in worknet in Seoul in 2005. From the analysis we know that those with college education, carrier, or licence have high chance for professional jobs. Also we find that the young old with career have high chance for skilled jobs. Finally, we discover that when they have the same type job as in previous years, it is more likely for them to have either skilled or professional job as they held higher paying jobs.
